sudostack collects minimal data to operate this site and deliver the newsletter:
- Email address — only if you subscribe to the newsletter via the signup form. We use Ghost's built-in membership system to manage subscriptions.
- Contact form submissions — if you use our contact form, we collect your name, email address, and message. This data is sent via Mailgun and delivered to our inbox.
- Basic analytics — we use Google Analytics 4 (GA4) to understand which content is useful. This collects anonymized page views, referral sources, and device type. No personally identifiable information is tied to analytics data.
- Cookies — Ghost uses a session cookie for logged-in members. Google Analytics sets cookies to distinguish users across visits. No advertising or tracking cookies are used.
How We Use Your Data
- Email addresses are used exclusively to send the sudostack newsletter and respond to contact form submissions. We do not sell, rent, or share your email with third parties.
- Analytics data is used in aggregate to understand readership trends and improve content.

Data Retention
Email addresses are retained as long as your subscription is active. Contact form data is retained in our email inbox. Analytics data is retained according to Google Analytics' default retention policy (14 months). When you unsubscribe, your email is removed from our mailing list.
Children's Privacy (COPPA)
sudostack is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child under 13 has submitted personal information through this site, please contact us at privacy@sudostack.co and we will promptly delete it.

We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date.
